"Yeah, we did it."

Happy Holidays
“Yeah, we did it.” Mason is so happy to have the tree up. His excitement gave me the motivation to get the house cleaned and decorated. That, and the fact that I decided to have a birthday/holiday party last Sunday. It was nice to have a few friends over, and Mason was happy to have people here. When he was going to bed, he said, “I want people.” I’m happy that he does like people and that he is social because he is exceptional in that way. He was stair surfing with his friend Ian, and he has the bruises to prove it. Speaking of bruises, I fell last week going down our narrow, steep stairs. I was only half awake when I was coming down from Mason’s room. This is not the first time that I’ve fallen on those stairs. My left leg bent under me, and my right leg kept slipping forward until it came to the end of the stairs. For a few second I feared that I had blown out my left knee.
