Mason and I had a nice holiday season and are ready to ring in the New Year. The best Christmas present I got was news that Menomonie school board had voted to fund a special K-2 autism class. Mason will start this full-day class in fall 2013. He will get to stay at Wakanda Elementary where he has been going to pre-k and loves it. This class is going to run for one year and then be re-evaluated. I hope it continues for Mason's sake as well as the many other children in our district that can benefit. Our other great present was the completion of our adopt…

Happy Holidays 2012

Early visit to Santa this year. Dear Santa, I don't want toys. I want cookies, candy, and books. Books by Ezra Jack Keats. Books with stories about Peter. Love, Mason.
One big tight squeeze!
 Mason "snumble."

 Mason's favorite book!

Thanksgiving was a bright sunny day. We were able to play outside!
Happy Holidays! We are thankful for our family, our friennds, my job, our community, Mason's teachers, and many other things, but mostly each other.
